The Voice Control Australia Story

If you can remember back to early 1994 you may recall that Windows based Voice Mail was still a dream for many - but Voice Control was only a few months away from releasing what, we believe, was a world's first. At last managing your Voice Mail did not require a visit from an expensive technician (who understood the shortcomings of DOS and the complexities of UNIX). The office boy was to learn how to manage voice mail in his spare time.

Of course, a small company who developed software in a garage in the outer suburbs of Sydney was not about to set the world on fire, regardless of how innovative their programs were. It took Digital Equipment Corporation to recognise just how good the Voice Control developers were. They met the stringent standards necessary and met the specification DEC brought to them - a specification that could not be met by the Voice Mail importers of the day.

Now, 1,000s of systems later, Voice Control Australia boasts a broad range of Computer Telephony products that lead the way - because we have been willing to listen to our customers - and meet the needs of the Australian company.
